2 B’s in a pod
Once upon at time there was a carpenter and an interior designer. They met on a job site and forged a team destined to design, create and slay any obstacles in the way. That’s us!
On one of our great adventures we started playing with clay. Almost two decades later we continue to make both functional and decorative items out of clay and other repurposed materials. Sometimes we create together and sometimes on our own. Our work reflects our love of structure and nature and is designed to bring beauty to your home and a smile to your heart. For us, clay is a family affair.

I love to draw people into looking deeply to discover details in my work that make them smile. My goal is to create structurally sound and visually engaging works that invoke feelings of joy and comfort. I create detail through the use of carving, piercing and adding three-dimensional objects to vessels and sculpture. My work is primarily hand built with structure informed by my fascination with architecture and organic detail strongly influenced by nature. When I want to start my process with a great hand thrown pot, I often steal it from Brad!

I love using my hands, whether I am working with wood or wrist deep in clay. My pieces are primarily thrown on the pottery wheel. I strive to make strong, functional pieces with an earthy appeal that you can use in your home everyday. I like to keep it simple. If a piece needs to be fancy I hand it over to Betsy!
